The following Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by More Than Sleep. By booking or purchasing any service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Services & Packages

More Than Sleep provides sleep consulting services for newborns, babies, and toddlers through a range of structured packages. Packages may include personalised sleep plans, phone or video consultations, written resources, and WhatsApp support for a specified period.

Optional add-ons, including additional WhatsApp support and in-home visits (where applicable), may be purchased separately.

All services are supportive and advisory in nature and are designed to guide families using evidence-based, age-appropriate sleep strategies.

2. Parental Responsibility & Medical Disclaimer

You remain solely responsible for your child's health, safety, and wellbeing at all times.

More Than Sleep is not a medical service. Advice provided does not replace medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment from a qualified healthcare professional.

You agree to:

More Than Sleep accepts no responsibility for outcomes related to undisclosed medical or developmental conditions.

3. Client Responsibility

You agree to:

Sleep outcomes cannot be guaranteed, as every child and family is different. Your commitment, consistency, and individual circumstances all play a role in progress.

4. Support Periods & WhatsApp Support

Packages include a defined period of support (for example, 1 week), as outlined at the time of booking. During this period, clients will receive check-ins, advice, and encouragement tailored to their child and family's progress.

Where included in your package or purchased as an add-on, WhatsApp support is provided for the agreed duration only.

Once the support period has ended, additional support may be purchased separately. Messages, emails, or calls outside the agreed support period may not be responded to.

Customised sleep plans are designed for immediate implementation. The included support period commences immediately upon delivery of the sleep plan via email (unless otherwise agreed).

5. Safe Sleep Commitment & In-Home Visits

More Than Sleep will only provide guidance that aligns with recognised safe sleep practices.

Any advice provided should be adapted and implemented at your discretion, with your child's safety as the highest priority.

In-home visits are currently available to families located within the Sutherland Shire and Wollongong areas only.

Clients agree to provide a safe and respectful environment during the visit. More Than Sleep reserves the right to cancel or end a visit if safety concerns arise.

Travel limitations and availability apply.

6. Payments, Refunds & Cancellations

Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD), are inclusive of GST and may be subject to change without notice.

Australian Consumer Law and Liability

Your statutory rights under the ACL, including consumer guarantees, cannot be excluded, restricted or modified. To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject always to the ACL:

Where our liability cannot be excluded but may be limited, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with the services or these Terms is limited (at our option) to:

You are responsible for your own decisions and actions, and for supervising and caring for your child at all times, and you agree that we are not responsible for any consequences of how you choose to implement or not implement our recommendations.

Refunds & Cancellations

Due to the personalised and time-intensive nature of sleep consulting services:

7. No Guarantees & Expectations

Every child is unique. While many families experience positive changes, no specific sleep outcome can be guaranteed.

Progress depends on many factors, including your child's temperament, consistency of implementation, and external influences such as illness, teething, or travel.

Sleep coaching is a process and may involve adjustments, setbacks, and emotional responses from children.

8. Intellectual Property

All materials provided by More Than Sleep, including sleep plans, written resources, and guides, remain the intellectual property of More Than Sleep.

These materials are for personal use only and may not be shared, reproduced, or distributed without written consent.

9. Confidentiality & Privacy

All client information is kept confidential and handled in accordance with applicable Australian privacy laws.

Information will not be shared with third parties without consent, except where required by law.

10. Support Hours & Limitation of Liability

Support is available Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 9:00pm AEST.

More Than Sleep does not provide support on weekends or public holidays.

Responses will be provided within support hours. While every effort is made to reply promptly, response times may vary depending on availability and workload.

Clients are encouraged to keep a log of questions or updates and share them during scheduled check-ins.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, More Than Sleep is not liable for any loss, injury, or damages arising from the use of services provided.

By engaging with these services, you accept full responsibility for decisions made regarding your child and family, while acknowledging the supportive role of sleep coaching.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

12. Updates to Terms

More Than Sleep reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. The most current version will be available on the website. If you have any questions regarding these Terms & Conditions, please contact More Than Sleep prior to booking.
